Alibaba's AliExpress, a Chinese e-commerce platform, has enlisted former England soccer captain David Beckham as a brand ambassador in efforts to increase international sales amid competition from PDD Holdings' Temu. AliExpress, experiencing a surge in revenues, recently became a sponsor of UEFA Euro 2024 and will collaborate with Beckham in a campaign to attract online consumers. To compete with its rivals, AliExpress is offering faster delivery and leveraging its logistical advantages following its buyback of Cainiao in March.
