Alleged Assistant of Legislator Hsiao Meiqin Practiced Law Without License Sent to Taipei Prosecutor's Office for Further Investigation

On the morning of June 13, 2024, a 48-year-old woman surnamed Lin, who claimed to have served as a legal advisor during the tenure of Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe and Legislator Hsiao Meiqin, despite not having a lawyer's license, allegedly assisted in drafting legal documents for the public and earned tens of thousands of illegal profits. She has been referred to the Taipei Prosecutor's Office for further investigation. Lin, wearing a mask, was seen entering the office.
