Yunlin County Councilor You Shuyun recently questioned the director of the news department, Zhuo Yizi, accusing the department of workplace bullying. Days later, rumors emerged that Zhuo Yizi verbally offered to resign to County Magistrate Zhang Lishan citing 'health reasons'. In response, Zhang Lishan stated on June 17 that she has not yet received Zhuo's resignation. During a council inquiry, You Shuyun pointed out high turnover in the department since Zhuo Yizi assumed the role, with 13 staff leaving. Allegations of long-term workplace bullying causing employees to seek medical attention were also mentioned.
