A data breach at Allianz Life has compromised the personal information of approximately 1.1 million customers, according to the data breach notification site Have I Been Pwned. The breach, which involved hackers accessing a cloud-hosted customer relationship database, included sensitive details such as names, birth dates, addresses, phone numbers, and Social Security numbers. Allianz is currently investigating the incident, which is linked to a hacking group known as ShinyHunters, notorious for targeting major corporations.
