Amazon faces $1.3 billion UK lawsuit over misuse of small sellers' data

Amazon is being sued by British retailers for 1 billion-pound collective lawsuit alleging misuse of data to boost market share. The British Independent Retailers Association filed on behalf of 35,000 retailers, accusing Amazon of utilizing non-public data to offer cheaper rival products directly to consumers, affecting small retailers. The lawsuit also mentions Amazon manipulating the 'Buy Box' feature. Last year, the CMA accepted commitments from Amazon regarding fair competition.
