Amazon Pharmacy is expanding its monthly subscription service, RxPass, to include Medicare patients, offering access to generic medications, pharmacist support, and free delivery. The $5 per month subscription is available to over 50 million more people and provides discounts of up to 80% on generics and 40% on brand name medicines. Amazon aims to reduce Medicare spending by nearly $2 billion annually and lower out-of-pocket costs for older adults.
