Amazon plans to hire 250,000 workers for the upcoming holiday season, the same number as last year, to meet the anticipated increase in e-commerce spending, which is expected to reach $240.8 billion. Despite the stable hiring figures, Amazon continues to outpace competitors like Target, which will add 100,000 workers. The overall holiday job market is projected to add 520,000 positions, reflecting a slowdown from last year.
