Amazon to invest $13 billion in Australia's data center infrastructure

Amazon is set to invest A$20 billion (approximately $13 billion) from 2025 to 2029 to enhance its data center infrastructure in Australia, aiming to strengthen the country's artificial intelligence capabilities. This investment is the largest of its kind from Amazon in Australia, focusing on increasing server capacity and supporting generative AI. Additionally, Amazon will also develop three new solar farms in Victoria and Queensland.
