A serious car accident occurred in Chia Yi County, Taiwan on June 28, 2024, where an on-duty ambulance crashed into a fishpond. Three men and one woman were injured and rushed to the hospital. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Both ambulance personnel on board were also injured. The damaged vehicles were severely impacted by the collision.
