AMD's stock experienced a decline of more than 6% following disappointing revenue figures from its Data Center segment in the second quarter. Although the company surpassed expectations in overall revenue and provided a positive guidance for Q3, it reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.48, below analysts' projections. Additionally, the impact of an $800 million loss due to a ban on AI chip sales to China contributed to an operating loss of $155 million for the quarter.
