In the Taiwan legislative Yuan, the Democratic Progressive Party caucus occupied the Internal Affairs Committee early in the morning to oppose the agenda for amending the recall law, leading to the meeting being unable to proceed. The Nationalist Party caucus also took action to submit the amendment proposal today. In response, the Democratic Progressive Party caucus issued a mandatory mobilization order requiring members to register for speaking this morning. Tensions rose with accusations and disruptions at the meeting between the blue and green camps over the recall law amendment process.
