American Airlines has terminated its relationship with the legal firm that suggested a 9-year-old girl should have noticed a camera on a toilet seat.

Reported 6 months ago

American Airlines has dropped the law firm Wilson Elser and hired Kelly Hart & Hallman to defend them in a lawsuit filed by the family of a 9-year-old girl who was filmed in an airplane lavatory by a former flight attendant. Wilson Elser had previously suggested the girl was negligent for not noticing the camera phone taped to the seat. The flight attendant, Estes Carter Thompson III, faces charges of attempted sexual exploitation of children. The girl's family hopes American Airlines will take responsibility with the new legal representation.
