In Seattle, a tragic shooting incident unfolded as 51-year-old Aaron Brown Myers mistakenly perceived three teenagers with a broken BB gun as armed robbers outside a gym, leading him to confront and fatally shoot one of them despite their attempts to surrender. Surveillance footage contradicted Myers' claims, showing the teenagers were complying with his orders and did not pose a threat. Myers, lacking crime prevention training, faced second-degree murder and assault charges, with a $2 million bail set for his court hearing on the 24th of June.
