Analysts at Mizuho have raised the price target for Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) from $152.00 to $175.00, citing renewed opportunities in China for AI chip shipments following a government announcement allowing Nvidia and similar companies to resume exports. This development could open a substantial $50 billion market for U.S. tech firms, including AMD, which develops semiconductors and GPUs. Analysts also raised targets for Nvidia and Broadcom, noting that Chinese customers are already applying for licenses to import certain AI chips.
