In recent extreme rainfall in southern China, a historic ancient monument in Quzhou City, Zhejiang collapsed due to continuous heavy rain on June 26. The collapse of the Water Pavilion Gate City Wall occurred within 10 seconds during strong rainfall, with a sparking sight seen on CCTV footage. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and the area has been closed for evaluation. The incident has saddened many, as the collapsed wall was a significant part of the region's cultural heritage and a popular tourist attraction.
