Andrew Left, founder of Citron Research, has taken a new short position against GameStop after previously facing losses in the meme-stock craze of 2021. Left covered his previous short position from May and then re-shorted it, although the size of the current short position has not been disclosed. This move comes as GameStop's stock price surged by 75% in response to investor Keith Gill's new stake in the company, sparking another bout of meme stock trading frenzy on social media platforms like Reddit.
