Anglo American Plc is selling 6.6% of its stake in Anglo American Platinum Ltd. to boost the unit's free float ahead of a full exit. The sale of approximately 17.5 million shares is expected to raise around $527 million. This divestment is part of a broader restructuring strategy following a rejected $49 billion takeover bid from BHP Group and includes plans to sell its coal business and exit nickel mining.
