Angry Cement Worker Sprays Gasoline to Demand Payment of 1.62 Million Debts, 60,000 Fish Is in Danger

A cement worker in New Taipei City, Taiwan, sprayed gasoline at a construction company's office to demand payment of 1.62 million debts that had been overdue for 5 years. Upset about the company keeping a 60,000 fish but not paying the remainder of the debt, the worker threatened to set fire to the office. Police arrived and arrested the worker for intimidation and endangering public safety. The construction company's owner's son claimed ignorance of the debt dispute, mentioning that the gasoline sprayed could harm the fish, and they plan to seek compensation. The worker defended himself, stating he did not intend to harm anyone and only wanted to resolve the debt issue. The police transferred the case to the prosecutor's office for further investigation.
