Zhou Yukou, a popular figure, is facing a lawsuit from legislator Huang Kuo-chang for accusing him of engaging in an alleged 'classroom incident' last year, following Huang's comment about potentially becoming Minister of Justice. Zhou was initially ordered to pay 300,000 NT dollars in damages for defamation and to delete the post, and now Taipei District Prosecutors have formally charged her with aggravated defamation. The case stems from social media allegations made by Zhou against Huang, which he perceived as damaging to his reputation and societal standing, leading to both criminal and civil legal actions against Zhou.
