Due to predictions of a 9% year-on-year iPhone shipment increase to 228 million units next year, industry insiders expect Largan, a major supplier, to benefit significantly, potentially becoming the biggest beneficiary in the camera lens sector. Despite a 439-point drop in the Taiwan stock market on June 24th, with most electronic stocks showing weakness, Largan (3008) and Crystalwise (3406) continued to rise thanks to Apple-related news. Largan's May consolidated revenue increased by 32.73% year-on-year to 3.486 billion NTD, and Crystalwise's May revenue grew by 110.9% year-on-year, despite a 17.1% month-on-month decline. Both companies are expected to perform well with the upcoming launch of new smartphone models and the increasing demand for edge AI technology.
