During the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on June 11, 2024, CEO Cook announced that the Apple's mixed reality (MR) device Vision Pro will be expanding its sales market. Starting from the 28th, it will be available in countries like mainland China, Japan, and Singapore, followed by Canada, France, Germany, and the UK on July 12. The device is priced at around 12,800 Taiwan dollars for the 256GB version and will be available for pre-order on the 14th and for sale and delivery on the 28th, including the experience at local Apple stores. With global sales of around 20,000 units and revenue exceeding $5 billion, Apple's move to broaden the sales market is seen as a way to enhance brand influence and solidify the customer base of high-end iPhone and MacBook versions.
