On June 12, 2024, the Taitung County Police Bureau held its annual Police Festival celebration at 10:30 AM to commend and thank police personnel for their dedication. Deputy County Magistrate Wang Zhihui presided over the event, honoring exemplary police officers, senior outstanding officers, and service staff. Taitung Tianhou Temple donated 300 new LED flashing reflective vests for officer safety. County officials raised overtime allowances for frontline officers and highlighted the county’s security achievements. The festive event involved over 200 participants, including government officials and police personnel, encouraging continued diligence in safeguarding the community.
