Arbor Energy has announced that its power plant, originally designed to burn plant waste as a 'vegetarian rocket engine', will now also burn natural gas, becoming an 'omnivore' due to growing electricity demands from data centers. This shift allows Arbor to meet energy needs while continuing efforts to capture CO2 emissions through advanced oxy-combustion technology. The company is emphasizing low-leakage natural gas to minimize climate impact as it works on a biomass-burning plant in Louisiana under a major funding initiative.
