Are Eels Really Bony? Customer Surprised by Fish Bones in Stir-Fried Eel, Owner Responds...

Reported about 1 year ago

On June 15, 2024, a customer in Tainan posted on Facebook that while eating dry stir-fried eel and eel noodles, he unexpectedly encountered a row of fish bones. These bones were as thick as a key, making him incredulous. The restaurant owner stated that the eels used were pre-slaughtered and processed by an upstream supplier, suggesting the possibility that the supplier did not clean them thoroughly.
