Argentina's inflation rate dropped to its lowest level since July 2020, with a monthly increase of 2.4% and an annual rate slowing to 166%. This marks a significant achievement for President Javier Milei, who celebrated his one-year anniversary in office. The government foresees further reductions in inflation, expecting it to reach 18% in 2025. Economy Minister Luis Caputo announced plans to adjust currency devaluation as inflation continues to ease.
