On June 16, 2024, the Army Officer School celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Huangpu Military Academy. Two female student corps, composed of officers and National Defense University female cadets, participated in the parade for the first and final time. Among them, Lin Ling, a fourth-year student from the 113th class, served as the exercise corps leader. She shared her motivation for joining the military, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and honor. Lin Ling highlighted the unique physical training focused on strength and leg power for female students compared to male cadets. She expressed pride in leading the female corps during this significant occasion, showcasing the strength of women at Huangpu.
