Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.9%, while the Shanghai Composite dipped 0.3%. Investors were optimistic about a potential U.S. interest rate cut. On Wall Street, the S&P 500, Dow Jones, and Nasdaq reached new highs, with Tesla leading the surge after reporting better-than-expected sales, while Apple saw a 1.6% gain.
