ASML and Eindhoven University of Technology have agreed to invest €180 million ($195 million) in semiconductor research over the next decade. ASML is allocating €80 million towards this collaboration, aiming to address workforce and infrastructure challenges in the Netherlands. The university plans to spend €100 million on building and operating an advanced cleanroom facility for research in fields like plasma physics and AI, with the goal of training experts and solidifying Eindhoven's importance in the semiconductor industry.
