On July 3, 2024, at 1:39 am, with the accompaniment of the police and family members, Mr. Tsai was safely taken to an ambulance and transported to the hospital for treatment. Police officers Lin Jiaxuan and Lan Yuxiang of the Ningxia Road Police Substation of Datong responded to a report of a man in a weak and disheveled state on the street, rushing to the scene to find Mr. Tsai (50 years old) whose health was deteriorating. They provided assistance, suspected low blood sugar, gave him candy, located his motorcycle, and ensured he received medical care. The mother expressed gratitude for the officers' assistance given Mr. Tsai's history of stroke and diabetes. The police reminded the public with chronic illnesses to be vigilant and seek immediate help from authorities in emergencies for their safety.
