Asterion Industrial Partners and Telefonica have agreed to sell Nabiax, a Spanish data centre operator, to European asset manager Aermont Capital. Nabiax operates two centres in Madrid and one in Barcelona, totaling 35 Megawatts in installed power. Asterion holds an 80% stake while Telefonica owns 20%. The deal's financials were not disclosed, but reports suggest Nabiax's value at around 1 billion euros. The growing demand for data centres, fueled by the AI boom, has spurred significant investment in the sector.
