ASUS Collaborates with NHIA to Enhance Smart Healthcare

Reported 11 months ago

ASUS is actively integrating resources in cloud, computing power, AI software, and hardware to delve deeper into the field of smart healthcare/health, following its collaboration two years ago with NHIA and NVIDIA to establish 'National Health Number.' ASUS announced a new partnership with NHIA through a public-private partnership to accelerate the development and application of medical information technology and biomedical big data, aiming to create a successful model unique to Taiwan and establish a complete ecosystem. The progress of this cooperation is expected to have a clearer direction by August, potentially replicating its success in overseas markets to align with Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare's New Southbound Policy. ASUS has demonstrated considerable strength in the smart healthcare field in recent years, from infrastructure technologies like AI computing private clouds and public cloud services to next-generation medical information platforms like xHIS and related smart medical services. ASUS is focusing on scaling up and popularizing xHIS for small and medium-sized medical institutions, especially those below the regional level. Moreover, ASUS's advancements in digital data platform technologies, such as the National Health Insurance pre-approval platform and Lumos medical big data platform, signify its commitment to advancing Taiwan's medical information technology industry.
