Over 17,000 AT&T employees across nine Southeastern states have initiated a strike, alleging unfair labor practices in contract negotiations. The Communications Workers of America, which represents the workers, claims the company failed to negotiate in good faith and has not sent decision-making representatives to the bargaining table. AT&T, however, refutes these claims and asserts its commitment to reaching a beneficial agreement.
