Legendary Broadway actress and singer Audra McDonald will star as Rose in the upcoming revival of "Gypsy" at the Majestic Theatre this fall, becoming the first Black woman to take on the iconic role on Broadway. The production, set to premiere on December 19, will feature McDonald alongside director George C. Wolfe in a highly anticipated performance that has been a lifelong dream for the Tony Award-winning actress.
