Aurora Innovation has announced the expansion of its driverless trucking routes to include a new lane from Fort Worth to El Paso, as part of their Q3 business review. The company has successfully completed over 100,000 miles of driverless operations on public roads and plans to introduce their second-generation commercial hardware in 2026, which will enhance their autonomous vehicle capabilities. In addition, Aurora's trucks are now accessible via live streaming, showcasing their performance in real traffic conditions, while the company also received a regulatory waiver allowing the use of safety beacons in place of reflective triangles.
