The Australian crime thriller series 'Scrublands' has been renewed for a second season, featuring Luke Arnold and Bella Heathcote in the lead roles. Set in Western Australia, the new season follows investigative journalist Martin Scarsden as he returns to his hometown to unravel a murder mystery involving his partner, Mandy Bond. The show is directed by Ben Young and based on the best-selling novel 'Silver' by Chris Hammer, with a star-studded ensemble cast including Luke Carroll, Debra Lawrance, and David Roberts among others.
