Australian cyclist Stannard banned for four years

Reported 4 months ago

Australian cyclist Robert Stannard has been banned for four years by the UCI due to abnormalities in his Athlete Biological Passport (ABP), which were first detected in August 2018. The 25-year-old's suspension has been backdated, and he has also been fined 70% of his salary in 2018 and 2019. Stannard can appeal the decision before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. He previously rode for World Tour team Alpecin-Deceuninck.
