Many travelers tend to secure their suitcases with luggage straps to prevent them from opening during transportation. However, a ground crew member advised against using these straps, as it may cause the luggage conveyor belt to stop completely if the straps get stuck on pillars. The crew member suggested threading the straps through the suitcase handles instead. Mishaps with luggage straps can disrupt the entire luggage transportation system at the airport, affecting all passengers and causing inconvenience and operational stress.
