Bain Capital has made a counter-offer of approximately 600 billion yen ($4.1 billion) to acquire Japanese software developer Fuji Soft, surpassing KKR's bid. This offer is about 5% higher than KKR's previous tender offer of 8,800 yen per share. Fuji Soft's management is currently in discussions with its major shareholders regarding potential takeover proposals.
