Baker Hughes Company (BKR) announced that it will provide liquefaction equipment for Sempra Infrastructure’s Port Arthur LNG Phase 2 project in Texas, which has a nameplate capacity of 13 million tons annually. The project includes two LNG trains equipped with four gas turbines and eight centrifugal compressors, in addition to electric motor-driven compressors for booster service. This contract reinforces Baker Hughes' partnership with Bechtel Energy and aims to enhance Gulf Coast LNG infrastructure, addressing the increasing global demand for LNG while ensuring operational efficiency and reduced emissions.
