Reported by Wu Boxuan for SET News on June 17, 2024 at 5:20 am, a well-known bakery, Jade Treasure Hall, in Lukang near the Guanyin Temple, was struck by a car causing damages exceeding one million dollars. A sedan crashed into the bakery this afternoon, injuring the 61-year-old male driver surnamed Zhao and a 56-year-old male customer. Despite the damages to products, aluminum doors and windows, and decorations, the staff are working to clean up and plan to resume operations tomorrow. The business has been operating for about 20 years, and despite the shock of the accident, fortunately, no employees were injured severely, with only a slight injury to a male customer who received treatment without major issues.
