Indonesian authorities on Bali recently arrested 103 foreigners, initially reported as 14 Taiwanese, for suspected internet crimes, later revealed to all be Taiwanese citizens. Over 400 phones and computers were seized, with officials stating that the individuals will be promptly deported. The criminal bureau mentioned that the suspects would be sent back to Taiwan soon after the local judicial process concludes. The case involves violation of immigration laws and is under investigation by Indonesian authorities, with the Taiwanese representative office coordinating for the return of the individuals to Taiwan.
