Bamboo Union Member and Others Sued for Disturbance and Violence Over 150,000 Gambling Debt

A man claiming to be a member of the Bamboo Union gang, Zheng, and several others were involved in multiple violent incidents in Xizhi. Zheng, seeking to recoup a gambling debt exceeding 150,000 yuan, gathered a group who used physical violence, pepper spray, and even threatened to strip clothes and smash cars with a machete. After investigation by the Shilin District Prosecutor's Office, Zheng and five others were charged with crimes such as group violence. Different accounts from the defendants led to charges including robbery, assault, and intimidation, with some denying involvement.
