Bank of America CEO States No Recession Forecasted

Reported 2 months ago

Bank of America's CEO, Brian Moynihan, announced that the bank no longer predicts a recession for the U.S., diverging from previous concerns held last year. He asserted that the economy is expected to grow at a rate of 1.5% to 2% over the next six quarters. However, contrasting viewpoints exist; JPMorgan economists recently raised the likelihood of a recession this year to 35%, attributing it to easing labor market pressures.
