The oldest U.S. bank, Bank of New York Mellon Corp., founded by Alexander Hamilton, is undergoing a rebranding to embrace the new moniker BNY. With $48.8 trillion in assets, the bank is broadening its image to include other services like markets, wealth, and investment management. CEO Robin Vince's strategic initiatives aim for growth in areas such as real-time payments and AI, focusing on market and wealth services as key drivers of profitability and expansion, with stock performing well in 2024. The bank's first rebranding since becoming BNY Mellon 17 years ago includes a new teal arrow logo and renamed divisions like BNY Investments and BNY Wealth. The legal name will remain The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation.
