Barry Bonds will be officially recognized in the Hall of Fame — but not the baseball one.

Reported 5 months ago

Barry Bonds, despite not being able to enter the National Baseball Hall of Fame due to his association with the steroids era, has been elected to the Pittsburgh Pirates' Hall of Fame. Bonds, along with his former manager Jim Leyland and 1970s All-Star catcher Manny Sanguillén, will be honored in a ceremony at PNC Park on August 24. Bonds, a seven-time MVP and all-time home run king, expressed gratitude for the recognition from his former team, highlighting his successful early career with the Pirates and the emotional significance of the induction.
