Basketball: New Taipei's King Chairman Wang Wensiang Calls on New Alliance, indirectly pressuring undecided teams for answers?

Reported 8 months ago

New Taipei's King held a press conference announcing the formation of a new alliance, with most details still uncertain. Ahead of the upcoming draft, no official time, date, or schedule has been released yet. Currently, 9 Taiwanese teams have submitted letters of intent, including T1 Taipei Titans, New Taipei CTBC Bank, Taoyuan Pure-Youth Clouded Leopards, Tainan Taiwan Steel Falcons, and Kaohsiung FamilyMart Marlins, among others. The formation of the new alliance, in planning for 2 years, remains shrouded in secrecy, with PLG scheduled for physical tests on July 3, and T1's on July 6, prior to their respective draft days in July. With details still pending, Chairman Wang Wensiang's comments are seen as pressuring the two remaining teams to declare their intentions early, to clarify matters ahead of the impending events. This creates a sense of urgency as the draft approaches in less than a month.
