According to SET News on June 21, 2024, Severe thunderstorms are expected for tomorrow afternoon. Today saw sunny skies in the first half of the day, with strong convection developing in the north and central regions in the afternoon resulting in heavy rainfall, notably reaching 71mm in Xinbei Ulai. Tomorrow, the main rainfall is expected in the afternoon, with convection developing near mountainous areas affecting many low-lying areas. Temperatures are to reach as high as 37 degrees in central and southern Taiwan. Tropical disturbance in the South China Sea has a low probability of developing into a typhoon, with little impact on Taiwan's weather expected. High temperatures in the north will reach 35-36 degrees over the next few days.
