On June 22, 2024, at 12:20 am, Life Center/Ke Meiyi reported on the high-temperature information in 14 counties and cities. The Central Weather Bureau issued a high-temperature alert for 14 counties and cities, with Taipei City, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County under orange warning, risking consecutive occurrences of 36 degrees high temperature. Taipei Shizi station recorded 38.5 degrees at 10:30 am, and Yunlin County's South Gai Dounan Substation reached 37.6 degrees at 11:22 am. The public was reminded to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities, labor, or exercise, wear sunscreen, stay hydrated, and prevent heat injuries.
