In Taiwan, the 3G network will officially close starting tomorrow, as announced by NCC. Users are reminded to check if their phones and SIM cards support 4G voice functionality to ensure the ability to make calls, including emergency ones like 110. Approximately 530,000 households will be affected by the shutdown. However, it is estimated that shutting down the 3G network will save over 280 million kWh of electricity annually, offering assistance in the face of power shortage issues.
