Taiwan Power Company reminds the public to be careful when moving home appliances to avoid pressing on the wires, as it can easily result in electrical leakage and fire hazards. Neglecting one small action while using appliances can lead to a fire crisis. The power cord may get damaged if pressed by the appliance's base or furniture, posing risks of electrical leakage or fire. Therefore, Taiwan Power advises people to pay attention to not pressing on the wires when moving appliances and to empty the water tank of dehumidifiers before moving them. Using dehumidifiers and electric fans combined can save electricity, but it is crucial to ensure electrical safety by avoiding wire compression to prevent accidents.
